The Elwood Hotel & Fiddletree Restaurant sits in the heart of Lexington. Currently amidst a complete renovation and rebrand, this 62 room boutique property boasts a new restaurant.

The Ideal Candidate for this Position…
The ideal candidate is an a hands on General Manager with an established and consistent track record of high performance in RevPAR index, margin and guest satisfaction improvement. They will thrive in an environment of autonomy where they will run the hotel as if it is their own business.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    -Lead the effective management of the Rooms, Food & Beverage & Engineering funcional areas to maximize financial performance while upholding quality standards and maximizing levels of guest satisfaction for this quaint, 84-room property.
    -Measure the effectiveness of broad-based marketing plans and yield management efforts to maximize the number of market segments needed and to diversify the sources of revenues. Manage and monitor sales and marketing personnel activities.
    -Ensure the development of a realistic and attainable business plan and budget that defines operational goals and profitability objectives.
    -Be available and visible to the guests and associates.
    -Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain/upgrade quality standards and property image, and to protect assets from neglect, damage or deterioration.
    -Partner with Corporate Human Resources team to manage and ovrsee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evalutiaons of hotel department heads, managers/supervisors, and associates.
