We work with some of the top research organizations and facilities in the country including multiple institutes at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).Job Description Axle Informatics is looking for Proposal Manager to work at our Head Quarters in North Bethesda, MD location.

This individual will work independently to develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams assigned to work proposal efforts.

Responsibilities:Independently manage highly complex proposals involving the complex solutions across the Federal Health and Research technology marketDevelop all proposal development materials including but not limited to: proposal outline, compliance matrix, proposal management plan, proposal kick-off meeting materials, storyboard and writing plans.Reviews proposal sections developed by members of proposal teams, providing guidance and recommendations, and editing sections as appropriate.Review and analyze solicitation and related documents, ensuring final proposal product is compliant and delivered on schedule.Manage a team of proposal writers both internal and externalParticipating in proposal solutioning to include evaluating marketing intelligence, identifying customer concerns, and key issues, and developing win strategies.Participate and lead the Color Team Review process.Engaging senior technical and management staff to obtain necessary information and commitment for specific pursuits.Leveraging previously developed content and Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews to generate new language for use in proposal development.Work with the SME’s to develop, draft, and finalize informational and compelling narratives.Lead SME’s to their deadlines to obtain the content required.Verifying complex technical solutions, strategies and themes are easily understandable, readable and compelling.Reviewing, organizing, and editing written documentation to improve clarity.Gathering and researching information to include in proposals, including resumes and project summaries.Providing final quality control check, including proofreading for grammar, request for proposal (RFP) compliance and conformance to established strategies and plans.Qualification: 5-7 years Federal Proposal Development ExperienceBachelor’s degree is requiredAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to successfully complete multiple tasks in required time frames.Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.Excellent time management and organization skills.

Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, re-prioritize based on business demands coupled with a strong sense of urgency.Is self-directed and motivated.
