Market Manager

Lexmark International, Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted December 19, 2021.

Market Manager will support all aspects of marketing and sales.

This forward-looking position carries specific responsibility for ensuring that the product marketing message resonates and is consistent through all forms of communications.

They have a critical role in new product launch as well as ongoing sales support.

They will cross collaborate with Product Planning, Business Development, Lexmark corporate marketing and Sales.

Activities include press releases, the development of product presentations, coordinating video presentation, tradeshow support, collateral support, web presence, social media, media placement, lead generation, etc

Product Marketing
Have working knowledge of the business plan, marketing plan, and technology/service represented.

Develop product requirements based on market research and input from Innovation, Technology Development, and Product Planning.

Partner with operations, development, and sales leadership teams for complete collaboration, agreement, and design of overall support.

Implement strategies to assist the sales team to improve market penetration.

Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.

Communicate market feedback to Product Management.

Accountable for successful launch of products and services into the marketplace.

Strategize and execute on modern digital marketing initiatives like SEO, social media marketing, and viral communications campaigns.

Drive activities that drive increased market share, profit, and revenue targets as a result of business plan execution.

Accountable for relationships and product value that results in positive client satisfaction.

Continuously look for opportunities to clarify/simplify our message and implement through enhanced tools for the sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, experience in a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing preferred; agency experience is a plus
Experience with new product launch, particular to technology and services.
Experience with successfully executing strategic business plans to introduce products and enhance revenues also required.
Must possess an understanding of product marketing processes and the support tools necessary to execute.
Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
Implements strategies to assist the Sales team to improve market penetration.
Accountable for successful launch of products and services into the marketplace.
Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
Must possess the ability to manage multiple products in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-level priorities, possess the ability to influence others and work collaboratively in order to produce results across multiple functional teams.
Excellent (spoken and written) communication skills.
Good organizational skills
Mastery of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
