Manager, OEM Operations

Tempur Sealy International

This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted April 1, 2021.

DescriptionEssential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area: This role will fulfill the primary client relationship management with OEM customers for both the DTC and the Retail Distribution fulfillment streams.

Responsible for execution of the order management function as well as direct line management of the order management team that supports the OEM business.

Serve as the primary liaison between the OEM team and the TSI logistical function (as well as DHL) Responsible for optimizing supply chain activities and creating value add relationships with key, assigned OEM customers through effective business and project management skills.

The Skills needed include senior level relationship management, supply chain capabilities utilization and management, quantitative and qualitative analysis along with understanding the interrelationship of processes and technologies interfacing with cross functional teams.

Effectively create and identify mutually beneficial opportunities for Mountain Top Foam and OEM customers using appropriate resources, information and personal skills.

Identified opportunities will be developed, presented and implemented delivering incremental benefits to sales, service and drive cost savings and avoidance in execution.

Collaborate with business leaders across the company on initiatives to infuse customer centricity and voice of the customer –drive continuous improvements in the delivery of the customer experience by providing actionable customer insights which foster innovations in our processes and procedures.

The Operations Manager will effectively interface with customers and MTF business units to improve customer satisfaction.

The advocate will have appropriate external customer contact for the purposes of determining product supply opportunities, disruptive supply patterns and overall customer satisfaction.

Foster and support a company-wide culture of customer centricity.

Demonstrate customer centric behaviors, create standard processes that focus on root cause and corrective action solutions with accountability and growth across the company.

Partner with leaders across the company to prioritize and solve customer impacting issues at the root cause level while articulating business case value from corrective actions.

OEM Retail Distribution team members, including coaching, mentoring and professional development will be key.Other primary duties and responsibilities include the following; however, Management reserves the right to assign or reassign other appropriate duties to this job at any time.

This document excludes the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties.Internal and External Interfaces: Member of the Supply Chain organization The OEM team works with cross functional teams including but not limited to sales, manufacturing plants, order management, distribution, transportation, customer service, planning, forecasting, & sourcing.

5-7 years relevant experience in supply chain operations preferred with management experience considered.

Proven negotiation and influencing skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and translate complex ideas into easy to understand business terms.

Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate to all levels of an organization and guide strategic planning fundamentals and execution planning.

Excellent analytical skills and very detail oriented.

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college in business Self-starter with excellent time management skills.

Experience leading cross functional initiatives which are considered game-changing and / or transformational while exceeding key goals is preferred –Results orientation, ability to lead cross functional teams creating clarity and vision alignment.To perform this job successfully, the employee must be capable of performing each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
