District Manager

Heights Finance Corporation

This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted November 24, 2021.

Overview:
The District Manager position for Heights Finance Corporation has responsibility for the performance and achievement of all objectives for the branches within the district while adhering to corporate policies and procedures.

The District Manager, through effective leadership and participation will enhance branch profitability, growth, and control.
Responsibilities:
Optimizing team talents by providing leadership and coaching by:
Establishes clear goals for the branch staff that tie to the vision and mission of the business
Conduct ongoing progress and coaching sessions with each team member on a regular basis
Managing team member performance issues in a timely manner and adhering to employment policies
Participate in manager training opportunities and apply learned behaviors
Manage all district activities to ensure overall profitability of district while adhering to corporate and regulatory policies and procedures:
Anticipate and act on the needs of both customers and team members within their district.

Propose effective solutions to the RVP and execute a resolution for all parties in a timely manner
Ensure the Standard Operating Procedures are followed in regards to compliance with state/federal laws though a minimum of two full supervision visits per year in each branch assigned.

Present any concerns regarding compliance to RVP and take appropriate action to ensure all matters are resolved in a timely manner.
Deliver various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to RVP on all branch results.

Train, coach, and take corrective measures to ensure branches within district are meeting objectives in regards to growth.
Maintain proactive relationship with internal audit team, investigate their findings and recommendations and ensure branch is making corrections as needed.
Business Development Growth of Receivables resulting in net growth for District:
Manage clear message to managers outlining expectations for growth
Cultivates relationships in district with regular branch visits to deliver a consistent message, resolve conflict, present awards and recognition
Proactively engage in communications and coaching sessions with their team to ensure they are developing and maintaining relationships
Quality Control of Delinquency:
Accurately set goals for branches regarding delinquency and controlled charge off
Manage credit quality within each branch to reduce risk of excess delinquency
Review branch results and trends and develop strategy with branch manager to achieve business results within each branch
Responsible for overall district operating earnings by:
Review and analyze branch sales and productivity and take immediate action is actual results are not meeting targets
Coach branch manager to effectively manage team productivity
Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA and/or equivalent work experience and 5-8 years of experience in consumer lending industry, including leading and managing a group of people across various locations or a combination thereof
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Possession of a valid Driver’s License
Proficiency with Microsoft applications
Ability to delegate, motivate and accomplish predetermined goals
Maintain/obtain state insurance
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
