BlueGrace Logistics: Implementation Manager

This is a Contract position in Lexington, KY posted May 9, 2022.

This role is responsible for supporting the Managed Logistics Business Unit (Sales and Operations) by serving as the lead liaison across internal departments to properly on-board an Enterprise client.

This role will work closely with the Operations Manager at the onset of bringing on the new account, sometimes providing daily operations support, until the account reaches stable state.

Duties and responsibilities: Initial Discovery of Managed Logistics Account including tour of customer’s facilities, defining requirements, interviewing account Stakeholders, and managing a project timelineWorks with Sales and Customer to receive & collect all necessary documents required for onboardingCoordinates the onboarding of new Managed Logistics Clients, across internal departments and ensures that the necessary processes are implemented to properly maintain the account going forth.

Supports Managed Logistics Sales by serving as the liaison between the Client and our Carrier sourcing / procurement department to meet our customer’s costing and service expectations.

Activities include the construction of the RFP form and following up until final carrier selections are loaded into the systemsUses Banzai to maintain key information (non-routine/non-daily) that could potentially impact the customer’s service or pricing expectations, or that may serve as a key input to benchmark analyses, QBRs, annual reviews or RFPsRecommends best practices and process improvements in or between internal operational departments to minimize waste and/or improve service to our Managed Logistics ClientsMaintains the highest level of customer service and supports Managed Logistics Sales and Operations by fostering BlueGrace’s relationship with Clients throughout the onboarding stageSupports efforts to develop and maintain solid carrier relationships to ensure the expectations of Managed Logistics Clients are met.

Escalates issues to Managed Logistics Sales and/or senior management as neededEnsures all internal systems including Banzai, REMs, TMS, etc.

are set up and functioning as intended by Go-LiveProvides recommendations for training Clients on best transportation practices and BlueShip usagePerforms onboarding kickoff meetings with internal BlueGrace departments involved in maintaining accountsProvides input to Managed Logistics Sales to help profitability, grow business, or cuts costs without negatively impacting service to the customerAbility to travel throughout North AmericaQualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required 3 to 5 years related industry experience.

Prior experience with 3PL supplier or carrier preferred.Prior experience of project management or implementation of new businessPrior experience with Transportation Management System Software (e.G., Mercury Gate), CRM Software (e.G., Salesforce) and intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel Knowledge and general understanding of supply chain IT systems (WMS, ERPs) etc., preferred
