How You’ll Make an Impact
The Associate Trade Marketing Manager leads promotion and merchandising strategy and execution for key channels and accounts.

Partnering closely with key internal and external stakeholders, this role is critical in delivering sustained, profitable growth for the Valvoline Core North America DIY channel.

In the role, you would be responsible for:
Marketing Management
– Partner across the marketing team to develop and optimize best in class marketing executions and communications to support service sell-in and management.

Optimize and manage ROI across service capability programs.

Growth in Mass, Retail Auto Parts, eCommerce
– Identify opportunities for growth across channels (Retail Auto Parts, Mass, eCommerce, Value, Club, etc…) business through analysis and solutions development.

Analytics
– Lead analysis of promotional plans for optimization in fiscal year and as part of strategic planning process.

Partnership Development
– Assist sales team with customer meetings, trade shows, and events upon approval of Sales Director.

Budget Management
– Manage Trade and Promotions budgets for key accounts.

What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree.

Minimum 5 years of marketing experience  Strategic Thinker/Data Based
– Ability to distill and synchronize various data sources to develop fact-based and strategically sound recommendations for your business.

Digital Acumen
– Proven ability to leverage digital technology and marketing to effectively and efficiently grow the business.

Collaborative
– Demonstrated ability to pull from and leverage diverse thinking, ideas, and viewpoints from across the business to build an optimal solution / approach.

Team Player
– The Valvoline organization has a strong team culture.
