Underwriting Intern II

This summer internship is a 10 week program and will work on a variety of underwriting projects and tasks.

Multiple intern positions are available at Anthems office in Atlanta, GA.

Essential duties will include, but are not limited to: Assist in the analyzing of data.

Educate the audience on the meaning of this data and what story it tells.

Make recommendations based on the findings of this analysis.

Work with the Agile Resource Train (ART) to analyze, develop, and validate projects and data.

Work with the A-Team to help develop and implement projects to improve the underwriting function.

Work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency.

Make recommendations to management related to development of the intern program.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university during internship.

Majors include Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related degrees.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience in the use of MS applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

Students must be authorized to work in the U.S.

without future visa sponsorship requirements Preferred Qualifications: A previous internship experience is preferred.

Demonstrated teamwork and leadership ability as evidenced in extra-curricular activities is preferred Anthem, Inc.
