Senior Digital Strategist

Bakery Agency

This is a Contract position in Lexington, KY posted January 4, 2022.

We are looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented digital marketing and social media leader to join our growing team.

Our ideal hire must be an all-around expert in all things digital and social, able to apply the critical thinking, media placement tactics and creative magic necessary to grow brands in micro-content digital channels and play an active role in all aspects of the work-pinpointing brand issues, benchmarking against cultural competitors, outlining recommendations, building the architecture of content programs and the media plans behind them, and defining the drivers of future performance.

Candidates must have experience in multiple categories, platforms, and across brands in different stages of growth.

They need to be skilled and knowledgeable in how social platforms can be leveraged and will lead teams to design social media strategies that combine the reach of social channels, deep audience segmentation, a strong and ongoing integration of content, and targeting to generate business results.

Responsibilities Lead the social, earned and paid digital, and PR efforts for several clients.

Analyze available insights and generate new insights to define overall brand content strategy, social campaign strategies.

Prepare and present strategies and reports for client/agency senior stakeholders.

Push brands to be culturally relevant through social-based moment marketing.

Write social and content briefs that provide guidance to creative development.

Lead all influencer and digital partnership opportunities for our clients.

Allocate resources, plan team’s work, oversee skill requirements and drafting of quarterly budgets.

Be a role model and advocate for collaboration across the company.

Provide ongoing thought leadership internally across the agency and externally with clients.

Have a focused eye for innovation, informing the company of the next biggest thing that can positively affect our client’s business.

Requirements 5 years experience in social marketing and/ or digital communications with proven examples of strategies developed for brands within a digital marketing, advertising, media, agency or creative environment A portfolio of work demonstrating expertise working in digital and social for famous brands is necessary to be considered.

Proven ability to manage, lead and grow employees and teams; player-coach mentality.

Strong experience in developing smart, innovative and robust social strategies A true strategist; understands the client’s business and is able to connect business challenges and social strategy tactics Solid understanding of PR and the intersection of PR and social media Proven experience in brand building; a brand strategy/ planning past is a big plus.

Working knowledge of social intelligence tools (i.e.

social listening, audience profiling) Demonstrable thought-leadership helping companies make social matter for their brand growth and efforts.

Senior-level client presentation ability.

Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Focused attention to detail; you would never allow a post to go out with a typo or a deck slide’s type to be misaligned.

Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
