Integral member of the TAI-GSC Safety Team administering Safety and Health policies and procedures to our Automotive Metal Sheet Products Group in Georgetown, KY.

Assists with program development, provides necessary training to management and team members and monitors and reports on safety performance of Operations.

Provides technical expertise in audits, accident investigation(s) and analysis, countermeasures, employee monitoring and testing and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Assists in developing and implementing programs to train managers, supervisors, and employees in work safe practices and incident prevention
Conducts safety audits for TAI-GSC and other Yokoten locations
Leads, provides guidance and structure to the Safety Committees
Monitors Compliance with Applicable Safety Laws and Regulations
Performs Safety Training and Maintains Training Records
Administers, Organizes, Maintains Business Records or Documents and Reviews, Creates, and Verifies Accuracy of Data or Reports Pertaining to Safety
Performs Root Cause Analysis on accidents and incidents to determine root cause and countermeasures
Participates and provides leadership for the continuous improvement program (Kaizen) for Safety
Track training program effectiveness and develop activities to improve training effectiveness and follow up
Other duties may be assigned.

in Industrial Safety and/or Environmental Health from a 4 year college or university and 3 – 6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
