Job Description SummaryMonitor, expedite, or reschedule manufacturing orders in order to maintain the manufacturing schedule. Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and update manufacturing shortage list daily. Expedite accordingly and communicate delivery datesRelease assembly and shipping paperwork (pick lists, labor, and/or drawings) as requiredHave a daily awareness of assembly movement so orders can be received and issued as machines move to the next station. Prepare for any potential machine delays and take action as requiredAssist Quality with any KIT parts that need to be rejectedWork with warehouse personal in requesting hot issue parts for continuous line flowWork with assembly supervisor s/team leaders for handling by-product-receipts to determine potential future consumption and/or return to warehouse to be restockedReview material variances on job orders to make sure all parts are issued and by-product-receipts are returned to stock. Once all variances are correct and machine has ship reported, prepare closing documents.Use APS system weekly to review and release subcontract and service orders associated with manufacturing packet. Follow up as required until parts are received back from supplierInterface with all levels of management and employees to meet schedules and maintain inventory accuracy, closed order variance, past due, etc.Safety, Security and EnvironmentalUse equipment and materials properly.Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5 S principlesObserve safety, security and environmental procedures.Report potentially unsafe conditions/situations 11.
