Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Lexington, KY

Purpose of Position:
This position will be an operator level position within the Body and Aircraft Armor Value Stream.

This employee will be responsible for the manufacturing and inspection of Body and Aircraft Armor for US military.

Essential duties and/or Functions:
Mixing powder
Running cold presses
Building and monitoring furnaces
Cleaning and grinding ceramic tiles
Quality inspections
Required Minimum Qualifications (Essential Functions/basic job duties that must be able to be performed with our without reasonable accommodation)
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to follow work instructions
Ability to use hand tools or small powered equipment
Ability to climb ladders, push carts, lift and move up to 15 lbs, and operate multiple different machine types
Preferred/Desired Skills or Experiences
2-5 years of manufacturing experience
Relationships
Working with fellow operators, cell leads, supervisors and engineers
