Job Description General Position Summary: This is a nonexempt position responsible for administrative and data entry support of the Company’s shipping and receiving operation at the company’s Lexington, KY distribution center. Second shift (4pm – 12:45am).Essential Job Functions Warehouse Distribution Center Management – 90% At beginning of each shift proceed to work area and performs daily operation paperwork. Reserves orders in WMS system Ensure that all paperwork is processed for all orders in Toyota Supplier.com, EDI and WMS. Works with truck drivers to confirm paperwork is processed and correct order is picked up Performs duties as assigned by Supervisor including Bill of Ladings and other duties as assigned. All deliveries for shipments need to be complete when orders are placed in the bins to be processed. Assist Supervisor, Team Leaders and associates with problems when able. Communicates with Supervisors and other personnel on any changes that may arise. Communicates with customer Specialist on outgoing orders and system problems. Miscellaneous & Other – 10% Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Follows up to complete any assigned work. Maintains high ethical standards in the work place. Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisor for solution. Maintains good communication with supervisors, staff members and outside contacts. Complies with all company policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area. Qualifications Education & Work Experience: High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience. One to three years of similar work experience including working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Tools & Equipment: General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, etc. Software includes the use of Windows operating system and MS Office.
