Legal Assistant /Legal Secretary

Talis Group’s client, a large award winning regional law firm specializing in various practice areas, is hiring a Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant for the healthcare/ insurance practice group.

This client has an excellent reputation in the region, a generous benefits package and is offering a competitive salary.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to work with seasoned trial lawyers and industry experts.

Highlighted Duties: -Entering monthly and quarterly billing -Calendar management -Mail and email responses -Drafting and revising legal documents -Drafting client correspondence -Managing court filings -Making travel arrangements -Document management Highlighted Requirements: -Extensive legal secretary experience with healthcare or insurance litigation and support.

-Strong attention to detail and organization skills.; must be able to draft legal documents and correspondence with high accuracy, as well as manage large volume of documents.

-Strong computer skills; high typing speed, intermediate to advanced MS Word skills, E-filing.

-Previous experience with making travel arrangements, managing attorney calendars and tracking deadlines and court dates.

-Previous legal billing experience; time entry.
