Documentation Associate

Corcept Therapeutics

This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted May 4, 2022.

Corcept is engaged in the discovery and development of drugs that treat severe endocrine, metabolic, oncologic and neurological disorders by modulating the effects of the hormone cortisol.

Since 2012, we have marketed Korlym ® for the treatment of patients suffering from Cushing’s syndrome, life-threatening orphan disorder caused by excess cortisol activity.

In addition to our commercial product, Korlym, we have discovered a portfolio of more than 1,000 proprietary selective cortisol modulators.

Lead compounds are in Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials for the treatment of patients with Cushing’s syndrome, advanced ovarian cancer, castration-resistant prostate cancer, weight gain caused by antipsychotic medications and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (“NASH”).

We are about to start a Phase 2 trial in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (“ALS”).

In 2020, we generated revenue of $366 million and net income of $112 million.

This position will be responsible for managing documentation for the Manufacturing (based in CA), and Research and Development (located in the UK) departments.

Responsibilities will include loading documentation into electronic systems and tracking approval status.

The person will also assist with reviewing and checking of batch testing data, preparation of batch documentation for archival or to send to vendors, and other administrative tasks as needed.

This position can be part-time (at least 20 hours).

Responsibilities: Load technical reports, manufacturing and testing documents into Veeva for approval routing or archival Load contracts into Agiloft system for routing for approval Load data and documents into electronic Trial Master File system Assist with creating purchase requisitions in Netsuite Track approval status and work with team members to ensure documents are approved in a timely manner Preferred Skills, Qualifications or Technical Proficiencies: Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work early morning hours since this position will also support a team based in the UK.

Able to perform detailed work accurately and in a timely manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Preferred Education and Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years relevant experience in managing documentation in a regulated industry.

Work experience in lieu of a college degree is acceptable.

Experience working with electronic data management systems.
