Business Unit Manger

OFFOR Health/SmileMD enables safe and accessible surgical care by delivering comprehensive in-office healthcare services, equipment, and personnel.  The primary goal of our company is to increase access to high quality care through our distributed service model.  To that end, you will have a vital role in helping to continue to shape our innovative model that makes an impact on thousands of lives.

We are looking for a competitive healthcare territory business manager who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. This person will work to grow the SmileMD business within their territory while servicing current and future accounts to improve performance.  He/she will also act as the key link between the home office, our sedation care teams, and our target healthcare professionals.

You will be presented with multiple competing tasks, and no day will be the same.  You will be required to bring ideas to the table and execute successfully at a rapid pace.

  • Business Development:  Identify and engage with new prospective offices, their clinicians and staff, via 1:1 meetings, group meetings, local events, and ‘cold’ calling.
  • Close New Offices:  Reach, and if possible exceed, sales and activity targets by actively presenting our business value to doctors, practice staff and nurses in target offices.
  • Optimize Current Offices:  Build and maintain positive working relationship with all customers, and work to improve key business metrics.
  • Territory Planning:  Lead the planning of your territory to prioritize accounts and maximize the business via analysis, competitive monitoring, staying up to date on health care system / office changes, etc.
  • Execution Excellence and Best Practice Sharing:  Fully learn and leverage all clinical data, sales materials, and information from home office by attending training sessions and collaborating with others.  Maintain key business details of office records within the CRM system, manage budgets for expenses/meals, and planning work schedule closely with the team.



  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • 3+ years in sales (B2B or Medical)
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Google suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Experience working in ambiguous situations requiring flexibility of message
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex science and clinical data in a simplified manner
  • Easily builds rapport with others
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prefer, but not mandatory:  Healthcare professional sales experience, especially to Dental offices
