What qualities are needed: Proficient with MS Excel with an ability to create macros, pivot tables, charts, formulas, etc.Knowledge of scripting skills in MS/SQL or prior use of Python, R is usefulAbility to understand database environment, schemas and translate findings into functional utility of information to support business needsDetail oriented, effective communication, presentation, and time management skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work closely within a team environmentAbility to rapidly learn new subjects or concepts, follow best practice methodology, process and instructionsConceptual knowledge of relational database systems, entity relationship, data integrity and quality, and data lineage What you’ll do: Participate in requirements gathering.

Organize and modify requirements enforcing version control.Utilize SQL scripting or API skills to automate business intelligence information need.Collaborate with the operations team to maximize use of corporate system’s stored information to help with the quality patient care, improve revenue or reduce cost.Validate Cooper business rules and document difference with Epic system rules.

Perform data analysis and data validation to ensure accurate results.Develop and/or utilize MS SQL query to extract data from the data warehouse, Clarity database, Lawson and other systems.Ensure Cooper reporting standards to ensure a high degree of accuracy and consistencyIdentify and validate the appropriate solutions for various reporting needsCoordinate the timely delivery and distribution of reportsWhat qualifications we are looking for: Strong academics, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or similar disciplineHealthcare experience a plus (but not required)Epic data model certification or experience is a plus (but not required)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Special RequirementsScheduled Days / Hours: M-F, 8-4:30;2-4 years’ total relevant experience Remote Work Position
