This is a Full-time position in LEXINGTON, KY posted October 14, 2021.

Minimum one year experience as an automotive technician.Job Purpose:Maintain and repair automotive vehicles.Duties:* Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, replacing filters.* Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.* Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.Skills/Qualifications:Lifting, Energy Level, Dependability, Persistence, Time Management, Attendance, Independence, Safety Management, Problem Solving, Dealing with Complexity, Analyzing InformationJob descriptionPerform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, battery installations and headlight/taillight installationsMaintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repairConduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the causes of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendationsInspect vehicles for safetyConduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundnessMaintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our recordsClean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safetyMinimum one year experience as an automotive technician.
