Content Marketing (Remote)


This is a Full-time position in Lexington, KY posted January 15, 2022.


About the Role:

  • This person will help create more brand awareness in the market through relevant and consistent messaging
    • Social Campaigns/Emails/On-line Advertising
  • Help to elevate the Wholesale brand/s in the market
  • Ensure deliverables are well executed and on time

What You’ll Do:

  • Create content calendar (internal/external) and editorial for BU marketing strategies
  • Routinely evaluate the success of the content—make improvement recommendations.
  • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports and web copy
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with BU tone and mission.
  • Edit content produced by product and sales team members, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, and social media analytics tools
  • Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar
  • Work closely with Business Unit to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product’s core benefits and consistently
  • Interact with graphic designers and internal team members to create and review all content & ensure consistent message
  • Work with creative resources including designers and other agency personnel
  • Awareness of the wholesale products and solutions and future development plans
  • Ensure consistent Wholesale messaging and adhering to specific brand guidelines
  • Support Wholesale events—messaging—theming and possible on-site support
  • Collaborate with product marketing on creation of sales enablement tools including content, collateral and other assets

Do You Have?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline
  • 6 years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for sales team success
  • Experience/consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
  • Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity
  • Must be able to respond quickly in an environment of change
  • An uncompromising approach to hitting deadlines
  • Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple segments in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create relevancy
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a sales environment
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy
  • Familiarity with industry terminology and demonstrated success writing content for marketing programs in a telecommunications or related industry, preferably in the wholesale space


Minimum Requirements:

College degree and 7-10 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 10 years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
