ResponsibilitiesPRN Therapist OpportunityThe Ridge Behavioral Health System is seek a qualified Therapist to work PRN/As Needed. Under the supervision of the Director, Social Services, provides therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnosis. Coordinate their treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process and utilization and review.Mental Illness is more prevalent than ever after all we have endured in 2020. The Ridge provides psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The Ridge offers Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Individual Counseling, as well as Medication Management for all ages. We have provided behavioral health services to over 92 Kentucky counties for more than 39 years. QualificationsWe train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position:EducationMaster’s degree in social work or other mental health field requiredExperienceOne to two years of mental health experience requiredInpatient experience preferred.Certifications/Licensure Must be independently licensed.Other SkillsWritten and oral communication skills. Skills in case management.Skills in time management.Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principals of abnormal psychology. Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients. Skills in conducting family group therapy. Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential. Must demonstrate the ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization’s cross-training, orientation program.
