Company Background:
Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer BS Degree tobe part of its team in its North American operations.

Description:

1. Develop technical evaluation criteria related to sizing and design for the renewal of mechanical systems (chilled water,compressed air, HVAC,piping, controls, cooling towers, etc.)
2. Provide technical support to N.A. plants in areas of mechanical system sizing, design, and pre-construction planning.
3. Serve as N.A. “Subject Matter Expert ” related to mechanical systems.
4. Investigate building industry trends, global Client trends, and current/past building issues to introduce innovation and improvements for N.A. mechanical systems.
5. Support the development of N.A. building standards/specifications for mechanical systems.
6. Complete technical evaluation criteria related to potential building expansions including system capactity studies,estimates of modified/new mechanical systems, and schedules to implement.
7. Provide internal review of mechanical system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.

Requirements:

1. 3+ Experience in industrial mechanical system design & implementation.
2. 3+ Experience in industrial buildings and building related systems.
3. Intermediate skill level with: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook)
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BluBeam, or other PDF editing software.

1. Professional Engineering License (PE)
2. Mechanical estimating experience

Travel is 15% – Across US, may travel to Canada or Mexico for inspections or meetings only
