This is a Contract position in Lexington, KY posted November 23, 2021.

My client is an excellent medium sized design and build contractor with an excellent history in and around Florida, their speciality is K12 school builds.

They are looking for a Lead Project Manager with experience of ground K12 school builds over $9 million to manage a $12 million school in Pompano Beach working under a Project executive.

The Role of the Construction Project Manager: Project manage through from design and Preconstruction through to construction completion.

Working with on site Superintendents to ensure completion of projects Managing the cost of the project Ensuring the programme comes within budget and in time.

Liaising with Design, Cost control, Operations, finance, client to ensure completion of projects on time.

Heading up sub-contractor and client meetings.

Liaising with Owners.

Direct and coordinate activities of Superintendent and project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule, complies with plans/specifications, and within prescribed budget.

Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.

Prepare project reports including forecasting for management, client, or others.

Aid Superintendent and project personnel by provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Coordinate project activities with required Inspections of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.

Job Requirements: The ideal Construction Project Manager will: Must have experience with Project Managing school ground up builds $9 million Have 5 years construction/project management experience Be confident managing a $12million project Ability to read, analyse and interpret construction contracts and subcontracts, construction blueprints, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of mangers, clients, customers, and the public.
