We are hiring a public affairs administrative coordinator who will be responsible for administrative support to the public affairs department.

This position performs clerical support, maintains schedules, and coordinates all public affairs administrative tasks during the legislative session and the interim.

The public affairs administrative coordinator also maintains the KLC database and serves as backup for legislative communications.

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who possesses excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements:

· Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in political science, communications, public administration, or a related field.

· Thorough knowledge of social media platforms and Microsoft Office products.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with city officials, LRC staff, legislators, other employees, and the general public.
