Membership Association Administrative Assistant-Customer Service

This is a Contract position in Lexington, KY posted July 28, 2022.

The Membership Services Representative works to achieve department goals for membership recruitment and retention through effective and timely performance of the administrative functions necessary to successfully recruit and retain members, and certify veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants.

The representative is an integral part of the team that plans and implements strategies related to membership recruitment and retention, and ensures comprehensive data collection, recording, and reporting.Salary Range-$15-$18 an hourRequirementsResponsibilitiesAnswer telephone calls and emails, process registrations, and membershipsPost daily cash receipts, balance, and submit daily to the accounting program.Provides administrative support to the FVMA team as is necessary during the course of the business dayAnswer inquiries and requests, from related regulatory agencies, FVMA members and members of the general public, through friendly, professional customer service skills, ascertaining the needs of the “customer” and providing appropriate assistance and information.Certification of CVTs and CVAs, and maintenance of their respective membership and continuing education records.Maintain up-to-date membership records and assist with the management of the membership database to ensure the database is current, comprehensive, and accurate.

(data management/maintenance) Maintain paperless, electronic filing Draft and proof written communications Provides input as part of the team, to membership recruitment and retention program planning and department work forecasts.
