Relationship Banking Manager

CrossFirst Bank

This is a Contract position in Lexington, KY posted May 10, 2022.

Overview: The Relationship Banking Manager manages overall sales and operations of the Personal and Relationship Banking teams; ensure success, growth and profitability of the Bank.

Lead the Personal and Relationship Banking teams to expand and maintain client relationships, enhance the Bank’s presence in the community and ensure that all Bank policies and procedures are consistently followed.

Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of client relationship strategies, products and services to increase the Bank’s deposit market share and provide extraordinary service to clients.

Champion change and innovation; lead by example; demonstrate a passion for coaching and developing team members.Develop strategies to support the Bank’s Relationship Banking strategic plan.

Establish and measure goals and standards for the Personal and Relationship Banking team.

Attract, recruit and retain a high performing team while demonstrating a Servant-Leader mindset.Supervise, motivate, and develop team members utilizing Strengths Based Leadership principles.Provide guidance on implementation and execution of policies, procedures and team initiatives.Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment.Train and develop team members in all areas of job responsibilities.Prioritize workflow and projects for self and team consistent with the Bank’s strategic and business plans.

Develop and expand relationships with current clients and ensure a favorable relationship.

Meet or exceed all goals and targets related to the identification and acquisition of new clients.

Actively communicate any client service and/or staff issues or concerns to the appropriate Partner.

Act as a resource for team members and Bankers by demonstrating extensive knowledge about banking solutions and management objectives.Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.

Represent the Bank and Personal and Relationship Banking team in a highly professional manner.Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices.Reliable and predictable attendance.

Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of banking products and services.

Demonstrate a high level of skill at influencing others and building relationships/strategic partnerships both internally and externally.Demonstrated success as a Branch Manager or senior Retail Executive in a high performing commercial bank environment is required; familiarity with the metro market and region is preferred.

Effective communicator; results oriented; demonstrates the ability to excel in high-pressure situations.Demonstrate exceptional client service, high degree of tact, professionalism and courteous image.Ability to effectively manage conflict, promote change and growth, and inspire high standards of performance.Demonstrate a strong financial acumen.

Analyze, synthesize and communicate financial data and related issues in an accurate, objective and straightforward manner.

Ability to routinely and creatively use and understand technology necessary to collect, retain, analyze and report critical, requisite information.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.Banking related continuing education or relevant certifications strongly preferred.
